InfantSEE

Today we took Holden to see the eye doctor...It is part of the InfantSEE program, which encourages parents to take their infants in to the eye doctor in the first year...it is free, and the doctor said they can diagnose and treat many major eye problems that if found later are harder to treat...I read about it on Lauren's Blog and since we do have some eye issues in our family we thought it would be a good idea...

Lucky for us we have an ophthalmologist that goes to our church...so we chatted with him one Sunday and he said it was a good idea for all infants to go in...so if you are a new mom out there take your baby in...it really was very easy and Holden did exceptionally well with the shining lights and all that jazz...Dr. Lech was so good with Holden, it really took very little time and he said everything looked as it should! yay!
In other news Holden now has 4 teeth and some very bumpy gums...who knows maybe more are coming...he loves eating and gets closer to crawling everyday...I think that is it for now...

I love the photos that you take of your son. Maybe you can come over some time and snap a few of Emily. I unfortunately put getting photos on the back burner so we have very few of her compared to Lucas.

Thanks for letting me know about this program. I will have to get an appointment with Dr. Lech, too!
