Saturday we wanted to get out of the house, so we headed out with the Peterson's for a hike...this is the view...The kids love to be outside and ride in the backpacks...its always a good idea for a weekend...especially because we are having awesome fall weather...
This is how Holden and MJ looked at the end of the hike...apparently riding outdoors is hard work!
When we got back to Grandmere and Grandpere's Holden was fascinated by the ladder...he kept getting on the first rung and I would get him off...then I decided to see how far he would go (bad idea) I spotted while he continued to climb...when he got taller than me, Tom came in and spotted...This was taken from the top of the stairs...
Look how proud he is...notice Tom is keeping him from falling...we wouldn't let him do this without supervision people...but he was climbing all by himself...
Just another perspective so you can see how high he was...The downside to this is apparently he gained confidence in his climbing ability because now he is climbing successfully on EVERYTHING! yikes! I'm in trouble!

The view from your hike is beautiful! Makes me wish we lived somewhere that we could go hiking on the weekends (rather than driving 8 hrs to hike)!
