Finished Projects - Baby J

A dear friend, who is having an extremely difficult pregnancy had a shower on Saturday...It was quite fun to celebrate her and her baby boy...she surprised us all at the shower by presenting each one of us with a verbal gift from her heart...she did this because this is the amazing woman that she is...She and her family are so dear to us...they are such amazing examples of Christ living within...
So anyways, her husband plays guitar...he is an awesome musician...he plays with Tom in our worship band, and Tom really enjoys playing with someone so talented...So when I saw this fabric, I fell in love with it...for myself and for their little guy...serious love people between me and Tom's mom we bought every yard they had of this...
I even knit a new hat to coordinate as the blue one I did a while ago just would not do:-) there is a blanket, a bib, a burp cloth and a hat...
Then I was chatting with a good friend who also happens to be the close close friend of the showered friend...and she told me that our friend had not gotten to one last thing she wanted to make for the nursery...SO...we did a little covert op and snagged the fabric...a receiving blanket actually...and made her this beautiful diaper stacker...this is inspired by Vogue pattern 7245...I love how it turned out...it is my first time with something like this...
She loved it too! And she wasn't mad at us for stealing her receiving blanket:-) Thank goodness...
Baby J, you are so loved, we have prayed for you daily...and we know that God's hand is upon you...
