These don't need a WHOLE post on their own, SO I decided to just put them all in one post:-)  This is our daily life.

In order to have any naps work, we move him to our bed for his nap...I love how he makes himself comfortable!

Another day with his backpack, this time my friend took him to fairy tale town, did I tell you she's awesome!  He was intent on measuring, what you ask...oh himself!  :-)

SO his friend gave him this bear to "borrow"  He really didn't want to give it back...This boy, he's a lover AND a fighter!

Helping me make this recipe for a new mom, and for our friends who came over that night.  He ate these olives, they DID NOT go in the recipe:-)

I wonder if I should be worried my boys LOVE to watch the food network, and HGTV.  And Holden the other day was telling me what flavors he tasted in something....hmmm am I creating cooking and design monsters?

Today...

We hung out with the cousins...trying to get it in BEFORE we start school!  The bigs were making salt dough...Love MJ...don't you always wear your party hat and a strapless dress when you work in the kitchen?  :-) I get my girl fix when I hang out with her:-)

Beth and I actually got some time to hang out!  The kids occupy each other and we can chat!  YAY!

Maundy Thursday

I was thinking upon today, Maundy Thursday, the day we celebrate the last supper, Jesus gathered with the disciples, all sinners, and two he knew would betray and deny him. And yet he didn't treat those differently than the rest, he bent down and washed their feet, he gave them the gift of a meal, one that all believers would come to use as a remembrance of his sacrifice, the gift of forgiveness, and the gift of new life, resurrection. I was just struck by the fact that Jesus knew all their "junk" and yet he served them, and humbled himself before them. I have so much to learn from the examples set before me in the bible. but also, I need God to provide the grace and power, to escape my humanness and mold me to be more like him and less like this world.

365 | Week 13

03.25 Uncle Dude

We had friends over for dinner, dear friends, and I must say the BEST part was Uncle Darrin or Dude as the Gabs calls him, reading Daniel's favorite books to them all, he has definitely won my boys heart, we truly are blessed with GREAT friends! Our boys are VERY loved!

03.26 Iron Man?

Holden wanted me to take a picture of his muscles as he posed as ironman:-)

03.27 Dress Up!

Today this boy could not get enough of dress-up, he was a pilot, a doctor, a fireman, and a lion! I think we covered it all!

03.28 Happy Birthday to my Best Friend!

Today is Tom's birthday, we started with french toast, and we went out to lunch, I had a great dinner planned but it had to be postponed, sometimes life is like that...we trust God, and what He is doing even when it feels like chaos...

03.29 A Million Hands!

Or at least it seemed that way! Prepping for Palm Sunday, I think I may have created more work for myself while trying not to create too much work for my volunteers! Luckily I had some spring breakers offer to help! Can't wait to see all the kids celebrating Sunday!

03.30 Birthday Raincheck!

Since Tom's birthday celebration was delayed...we decide to celebrate it tonight in lieu of date night. we had friends over for Salmon burgers, corn salad, and sweet potato fries...Oh yeah and the requested Homemade mudpie:-);-) I love my husband!

03.31 God's Promise

It's been an interesting, troubling week. We have friends who are hurting, family who are going through a ridiculously tough season, and other family that is hurting. But we have also seen God working, we've seen miracles, and we trust in God's promises. In fact we cling to them when the impossible seems to happen. Today after raining all day, we saw THIS...Thank you God for the reminder you are always with us!

03.18 Got Sleep?

Daniel has given up napping, but if he stops long enough after 2pm, this is what happens:-) SO cute! And yet SO frustrating!

A terrible picture, BUT SO fun! This kid(Daniel) is fearless!

03.21 Reading

I love reading with Holden everyday. He comes home with a book from his reading center and has to read it to me 2 times:-) It's a fun time of day!

03.22 Purple Pants

Yesterday while driving Daniel had a diaper failure! When we got to our friends house we had to borrow some pants, she only has girls...Daniel thought he was pretty cool in the purple pants, he especially liked the rhinestone heart!

03.23 Summer is Coming!

I can't wait to do some cooking on this! My goal is gourmet camp cooking! No more freeze-dried meals for us!

03.24 Decorating Day!

Today was the first of 2 decorating days for this summers VBS! We got a lot done! The painted boards all became paper airplanes, and you can see a white cloud in there too! We made a TON!

365 | Week 11

03.11 Airplanes

They are popular in this house! AND Daniel is very much into driving, and flying everything around complete with engine and crashing sounds:-)

03.12 Manuscript Study

Tonight we started a new study, Nehemiah Manuscript style! I love the messy, deep way that this gets you into God's word! Can't wait for next week!

03.13 Watch out!

We are getting ready to Fly into the SKY at VBS this summer, so fun as supplies and attire arrive at our door a couple times a week! Seriously would you trust this person with your kids?!?

03.14 From Our Garden

Tonight we had a yummy BBQ chicken salad, it tasted EVEN better on a bed of our own greens from the garden:-)

03.15 Green Smoothie

We are back to the produce box and I have been getting back into the green smoothies:-) Now with a little protein powder GREAT post workout treat!

03.16 Ice Cream Sandwich

This boys LOVES his chocolate ice cream, and it's even better between TWO chocolate chip cookies! YUM!

03.17 Star Wars

Tom and Holden have started watching Star Wars, it's a special treat when little brother is sleeping:-) So FUN!

365 | Week 10

03.04 For Me!

I made myself a shirt from scratch! I started with a pattern, and then modified it, I love it!

03.05 Work

When I have to take Daniel into work with me for my weekly meeting he gets to pick out a movie to watch, he is SUCH a good kid, I can usually get my whole meeting in without interruption! I am glad that most weeks I have grand mere to play with him instead of showing a movie!

03.06 The Giving Tree

This is Daniel's favorite book! He knows almost the whole thing by heart, just by looking at the picture. I hope to always remember his little voice reciting this sweet book. We read it every night!

03.07 Windows Down

It was a beautiful spring day today, AND I love love his little hand out the window...whenever its down this is where his hand is:-) SO cute!

03.08 To Grandmere's House We Go!

The boys are off for one night, while Tom and I getaway! SO excited, and luckily so are they!

Today was activity day, this is how Holden came out to greet me! Love this Kid! I couldn't resist!

A night, just one in Tahoe, just enough to refresh and remind us of why we love being married, we truly are friends and time together is SO fun! Good food, Good weather, Good times, and Good company!

02.26 So Far So Good

So far this little guy has escaped the plague! THANK GOODNESS!

02.27 Teenage Boy?

This kid NEVER stops eating! Or SO it seems! This is him with his second helping, AND finishing off his brother's first helping! What will his teenage years be like!

02.28 Healing Nicely

So NICE to see his WHOLE eye again! Now he feels like a celebrity because everyone asks him about it:-)

The plague FINALLY hit this poor little guy:( At least now it should mean we are done with it!

03.01 Coach Mike is the BEST!

Today Holden was a little apprehensive to go into gymnastics, mostly due to his eye injury...AND they started off with the bungy harness, he was NOT feeling it, BUT coach Mike worked through it, and he got Holden up there! THIS is why I LOVE coach Mike!

03.02 Re: A Couples Night Out

A sweet night out with couple's from our church. There were lots of laughs, some special moments, and some great sharing. All the hard work was well worth it!

03.03 Breakfast of Champions!

We joined the grands in Auburn for a tasty breakfast this morning! Yummy! Holden ate the WHOLE thing! He said he was STARVING!

365 | Week 8

02.19 The Traveling Bucket

Today, I became victim #2 of the "plague of 2012" and to think I thought Tom had food poisoning! Ugh! This bucket moved from his side to my side:( I hope it's over quickly!

02.20 Sick Bay

Who knew that the "plague of 2012" and bunk beds DON'T mix? After the first incident Holden was relegated to the floor of the extra room, and at his request daddy, who was feeling the best of the parents joined him. Thank goodness for Tom, my stomach was in NO shape to be a help...I could barely move:( I LOVE that we are a team, not a one man show, that he will help with the sickies, and the middle of the nights! I LOVE him!

02.21 Poor Guy!

The "plague of 2012" victim #3, this is what he looked like most of the day! "I know how you feel buddy..." I hope it ends soon and Daniel stays strong as the sole survivor!

02.22 It Has Begun

Just a glimpse as SKY begins to take over our lives:-) I LOVE VBS! Can't wait!

02.23 OUCH!

I ran an errand Tom went to the park with the boys, when I returned I saw this boy with an ice pack on the couch! Of course tomorrow when he returns to school not only will he be able to talk about the "plague of 2012" BUT he will look like THIS! Good thing it's share day!

02.24 Dinner In!

This week has been rough! We knew we couldn't have our scheduled date night, well at least not a night out, SO we ordered in:-) A local Meat & Fish market offers a full meal for two for $30, you just take it home and bake it:-) It was yummy and we had leftovers:-) A perfect end to a not so perfect week!

02.25 Adrianne!!!

We all agree Holden looks a little like Rocky! or like he was in quite the fight! This morning he looked at me and said, "Mom, this has been a ROUGH week!" No kidding!
