A perk of being a photographer:-)

I LOVE my job, meeting new families, capturing personalities and memories.  BUT, truly one of the GREATEST blessings of my job, is capturing friend's families.  This fall I got to capture the B Family Katherine is a lifelong friend from the desert, she and her family live here now.  Such a Joy!

Our Family Pictures: Take TWO

We had to do TWO takes of photos this year, as I was NOT happy with the first!  Mostly it was my own vanity, but I knew I wanted something different, and that the first set didn't really say "us".  I am SUPER happy with these, but geesh it is hard getting your own vision across to someone else, :-)  Luckily my trusty sidekick Beth helped me realize my vision!

My good friend asked me to photograph her family, at her parents home.  It was such a nice setting, and her grandpa was there to get in on some of the shots...what a special shoot.

The whole family is gorgeous so it was an easy shoot:-)

Blowing in the Wind...

We tried to sneak one last session of the season in...and while hoping for no rain...I didn't think of the wind!  These guys were troopers!  It was cold and windy...but I think it was worth it!  It was a great session and we got some great shots!

Can you believe how cute this little guy is?  He is quite the charmer...as is his brother:-)

Mr. N didn't like being so far from mom so we had to change it up a little:-) In fact he wasn't sure he wanted his picture taken:-) Running and playing was way more fun...And Miss K...Well she didn't think I was quite as funny as my kids do...but she lit up when her parents were out of the picture and in her line of view...(check out the next post:-))
