This past Sunday we had Holden dedicated...It was a great service and we had many friends and family there to help us celebrate...Children are an amazing gift...The pastor picked this verse from Romans to speak on for the dedication:
Romans 8:31-32 - "What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but gave him up for us all--how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?"
I thought our pastor did a great job with the sermon and the talk before the dedication...He outlined the responsibilities we have as parents and Christians, with not only our children but also those in our church...
It was such a sweet time with family...My parents came up along with my grandparents...Tom's parents were there as well as his sister and her family...and his aunt and uncle came...the cousins came to lunch after the service...those that attended the service were given an extra treat as Tom played bass in the worship band...something those who do not attend our church have never seen...My family just left today...

What little gifts they are!!! We are having Preston dedicated next weekend and I can't wait to hear what our pastor has to say. Holden is a precious little boy!
