Fire Truck, Fire Truck Racing by

So our moms group ventured to the fire station...since it just so happens one of the dads is a fireman:-)
Holden talked about it forever, he loves fire trucks, sirens and everything...but the morning of when I asked what he was going to say to Uncle Dennis the fireman...he said, "I am going to be shy"
And shy he was...I pretty much carried him the whole time...all these pictures are courtesy of Aunt Jamie...and he REFUSED to ride in the firetruck! Oh my! Not what I was expecting from my little guy...Oh Well he is 2...

They showed us all kinds of things about the truck...and even let some little ones try on their jackets and try out the fire hose! It really was fun! And Holden talks about it still...just didn't want anything to do with it then...

Since then he often pretends he is a fireman fighting a fire, with whatever he can find to act as a firehose...sometimes the actual hose...sometimes scraps of paper!

Whats up with this stance...scary, he looks so much like momma here...well his facial expression and stance:-)

And of course Miss P whose daddy is the fireman...she strutted around like she owned the place...she is no stranger to fire stations and sirens...

Of course the grassy area outside the fire house was quite fun too!
