Summer is officially over. Yesterday and today it RAINED ALL DAY! Tom and I had wanted to have a family only day today. So when we new it was going to be rainy we decided we would do a family day in. We did head out to the coffee shop in the morning, after the boys and I had a sing a long and dance a thon, while Tom slept in. BUT when we got home, it was about being together as a family, NOT about what we could get done today. We hung out played games, and watched a movie. I had planned on popcorn and hot cocoa but we never got to it:-) Oh well, the best part was while putting Holden to bed, he asked why everyday couldn't be like today (I think it was mostly due to the movie, but I like to think days like today will stick with him). Daniel went to sleep at 4:30 and apparently is down for the night...I hope. We have so much to be thankful for and today was a GREAT day. We even sang "Jesus love me" a few times:-) Praise God for slow, rainy days.
