So on today's agenda, we had a visit with my dear friend April and her husband...and a visit with our friend Stephanie...who lives overseas, and was just married over there...We of course could not attend the wedding...so we were happy they had a couple stateside parties...I of course took my camera but failed to take any pictures...so these are from legoland and our visit with Matthew and Paula:-)
We went to April and Justin's new condo for brunch...yummy waffles and fruit, of course coffee and mimosa as well...Their condo was very nice! They have done a ton of work to it, and I loved all they had done! It was so fun hanging out and catching up with them...They are both very busy...with careers and schooling they are always busy! Its always so fun to catch up with April...and I have always loved Justin! I think he's the perfect match for her:-) Anyways, it is interesting trying to catch up and ACTUALLY talk when you have a little one...he was a bit fussy and ended up needing a nap while we were there, but overall he was fine and we got to fill each other in on the happenings of our lives...
After we left April's we headed to Mission Bay Park for a little picnic gathering to celebrate Stephanie and Jason's wedding...it was a small group and we really got to talk with the couple, so that was a lot of fun...It's been a few years since we have seen Stephanie and the other guests so there was lots of news...and a few little ones to meet...Holden had his first ruffles potato chips and of course thought they were great...We hung out for several hours...it was a fun weekend...
The ride back to Palm Desert was not so fun...as I think Holden was DONE with traveling and meeting new people...he wanted to be one place and stay...and it was not the car seat...at least it was only a couple of hour drive...we got back and went in the pool...he liked that...Oh and in case you're wondering 2 nights was all we got of sleeping through the night...oh well...someday...
